The Graveside Celebration of Life service for Benny Brumfield age 82 of Ringwood will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Meno under the direction of Anderson Burris.
Benny was born April 6, 1942, in Bokchito, OK to Ira Cletus and Lucille Jewel (Brown) Vails and passed away on February 21, 2025. She grew up in Durant and moved to Oklahoma City where she attended school. She graduated from Crooked Oak High School in 1960 and on June 7th of the same year married Thomas Eugene (Gene) Brumfield in Durant, OK. They lived in Oklahoma City and moved to Ringwood in 1971. Benny was a mother and homemaker She kept it all together while dad worked in pipeline construction out of state a lot of the time. When we grew up, she would travel with dad when he went on jobs. Mom liked to travel, garden and shop in antique stores. She also had a love for German shepherds. She was involved in intercessory prayer and what a prayer warrior she was, when she prayed, things would change. She attended Faith Center in Meno.
She is survived by her children, son Terry D. Brumfield and wife Cindy of Enid, daughter Lea Ann Cox and husband Shane of Denton, TX, two grandchildren Brianna Elyse and Colton Joshua.
Sisters Sharon and Husband Jack, Sandra, Janice, and brother Donald.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Lucille and her husband Gene.
