Bart L. Arnold

November 7, 1964 - January 3, 2022

Bart Arnold, 57, of Enid Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly on January 3rd at his Enid home.

Bart was born in Salina, Kansas to John & Jean Arnold on November 7, 1964. He graduated from Enid High School in 1983, then went on to join the United States Air Force in 1987 where he served as a security policeman for 10 years. He married the love of his life, Dawn Roever, on January 5th, 1993. They shared 29 wonderful years together along with Dawn’s daughter Brittany, whom he loved as his own.

Bart’s calling to serve and protect continued even after his military service. He joined the Enid Police Department in October of 2001 where he proudly served as a patrol officer for 20 years. He was also a valued member of the department’s Honor Guard.

Police work was Bart’s passion and it was evident to all who knew him. Even his free time was spent watching crime television shows. Additionally, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, especially to the beach, and spending time with his family. Despite Bart’s tough exterior, he absolutely loved to make people laugh. He was a dedicated policeman and he loved his family with all his heart. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Bart is preceded in death by his father John Arnold, mother Jean Arnold, and brother Brett Arnold.

He is survived by his wife, Dawn, daughter Brittany Cooper & husband Ryan, sister-in-law Sherri Otto, uncle Bill Arnold, aunt Nancy Longstreth, & his many friends and work family at the Enid Police Dept.
