Autry Technology Center to Host AI Summit

ENID, OK - Autry Technology Center is preparing to host its first-ever artificial intelligence summit, "Prompting in the Plains: An A.I. Summit," a full-day event designed to help professionals from all industries unlock the power of AI. The summit will take place on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and hands-on workshops focused on practical AI applications.

The event’s keynote speaker, Sean Alexander, is a 25-year veteran of Microsoft and a leader in the field of artificial intelligence. Alexander, who played a key role in developing the Microsoft AI Executive Program and the OpenAI partnership, will share his expertise in a keynote address titled "Transformation in the Age of AI: Practical Insights for All Professionals." His session will provide actionable strategies for incorporating AI tools into everyday workflows.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions and workshops tailored to different skill levels and interests. Sessions include topics like "AI 101: Unlocking the Basics with ChatGPT," "AI in Education," "Building Smarter Chatbots with AI," and "Mastering Creativity with Photoshop AI."

The summit is open to anyone who uses a computer in their professional life, including business owners, executives, educators, creatives, and policymakers. Industries represented include manufacturing, healthcare, education, retail, and business services.

Autry Technology Center has been a part of the Enid community since 1967 and is one of 29 CareerTech schools across Oklahoma. The center has more than 25 career programs and offers a wide variety of evening and weekend short-term courses and certifications for many diverse career fields. Autry Tech serves nearly 16,000 individuals each year, including many area employees who receive training through the Workforce & Economic Development Department that works with over 500 local businesses each year.
