Autry Technology Center Names Jaren’s Jerky 2024 Partner in Progress

ENID, OK - Recognizing exemplary dedication to career and technical education, Autry Technology Center proudly bestowed the 2024 Partner in Progress award upon Jaren’s Jerky during the annual Partners in Progress celebration on Feb. 20, 2024. Hosted by the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education (OkACTE) and Oklahoma Association of Technology Centers (OATC), this event honored industry partners for their outstanding contributions to the advancement of career and technology centers across Oklahoma.

Selected for their unwavering commitment to enhancing career technical education, Jaren’s Jerky stood out for their utilization of Autry Technology Center’s services and programs, along with their remarkable efforts to promote workforce excellence and education within the community. As a resident in the Strate Center at Autry Tech, a certified business incubator focused on fostering business development, Jaren’s Jerky exemplifies innovation and excellence in entrepreneurship.

Owned by father and son Lester and Jaren Browne, Jaren’s Jerky is an Oklahoma-based beef jerky manufacturer focused on brining homestyle jerky with a range of flavors to customers at an affordable price.

Autry Technology Center, serving the Enid community since 1967, is one of 29 CareerTech schools across Oklahoma. Offering over 25 career programs and a variety of short-term courses and certifications, Autry Tech serves nearly 16,000 individuals annually, including area employees receiving training through the Workforce Development Department.
