Mary Elisabeth Worth

October 21, 1940 - February 4, 2026

A Celebration of Life for Mary Worth will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, February 9th in the Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home Chapel, in Enid, Oklahoma with Reverend Steve McClaren officiating. Burial will follow in the Garber Cemetery.

Mary Beth was the daughter of Lurline and Leonard Kapka. She was born in Garber, Oklahoma and moved to Enid, Oklahoma in 1957. She graduated from Enid High School in 1958. Then she married the love of her life Richard Worth in August 1958. They had two children Melodee and Travis. She worked for many years as a court reporter for Judge Michael in Garfield County. Mary loved the outdoors, cooking, and traveling in their camper to many mountain adventures and lake hideaways. She was close to all her family and held many family events.

Mary was a member of Grace Bible Church in Enid, Oklahoma. Her favorite Bible Verse was Philippians 4:13—” I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Besides her parents, Lurline and Leonard, she is preceded in death by her children Melodee and Travis, her brother Bob Kapka, and her beloved husband Richard.

Mary is survived by her sister Barbara Lohse (Enid) and Barbara’s children, Beverly (Buckles) Thoes, Bob Buckles and their families, her sister-in-law Jane Kapka (Enid), her nephews Mike, Doug and their families.

She leaves her legacy to her grandchildren Lindsey Martinez (Nico, Nate, Nash and Nixon), Brian Simmons (Cameron and Evelyn), Alexa Worth, Tawney Beth Worth, her many great grandchildren and their families.
