Laura May Williams

February 3, 1954 - July 3, 2025

Mass of Christian Burial for Laura Williams will be 1:00 pm, Friday, July 11, 2025 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Reverend Mark Mason, celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Recitation of the Rosary will be 6:00 pm, Thursday evening at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Laura was born February 3, 1954 in Enid, Oklahoma to Hugh and Dorothy (Thompson) O’Neill and passed away July 3, 2025.

She grew up in Enid and graduated from Enid High School. Laura married Gary Williams in 1973, and together they raised four children. In 2004, she married Troy Parnomchol, adding another chapter of love and companionship to her life. She was a lifetime member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, and her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. St. Padre Pio was her favorite saint, and his words, “Pray, hope, and don’t worry,” guided her faith-even when worry came naturally to her. Prayers and devotionals were an important part of her day. She had a gift for connection-warm, friendly, and always interested in the people around her. Laura enjoyed cloudy, rainy days, word puzzles, and her bracelet collection. Her family will deeply miss her presence, her wit, and her trademark “Be weather aware” texts.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Dorothy O’Neill.

Laura is survived by husband, Troy; children, Greg Williams (Lacey), Jeff Williams (Bethanie), Joey Williams (Kaylee) and Laurie Williams; eight grandchildren; brother, James O’Neill; sisters, Mary Anderson and Patty Snyder (Sam); aunt Detta Kretchmar; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Our Daily Bread.
