Tombstone Tales Set For Oct. 6-7

ENID, OK - The Tombstone Tales Event produced by the Enid Cemetery Association will take place Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7. This has become a very popular annual event and sells out quickly.

Riding along on the tour you'll travel back in time with Enid Cemetery Tombstone Tales. Enjoy the cemetery after dark as your guide stops at specified tombstones, where costumed re-enactors portraying historic Enid figures step out of the shadows to tell their stories.

Get into the spirit of Halloween and find out what secrets have been taken to the grave. It's just a little spooky but mostly educational and informational.

The Enid Cemetery is located at 212 W. Willow but participants will park in the north end of the cemetery off of N. Washington St.

Ticket price is $15.00/person and includes the tour only. Tickets on sale at the "Enid Welcome Center". For reservations, call 580.233-3643, ext. 1 or stop by 201 W Garriott. Only cash or check accepted.

Wagons go out every 20 minutes from 6:20-8:20 pm.

The Enid Cemetery Association will be holding a cookout at the loading and unloading area. Cost of food is by donation. All proceeds benefit the upkeep and care of the Enid Cemetery.
