William "Bill" A. Gerhard Jr.

September 16, 1939 - July 13, 2022

The funeral services celebrating and honoring the life of William A. “Bill” Gerhard Jr., 82, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. on Monday July 18, 2022, in the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Bill was born September 16, 1939, to William A. Gerhard, Sr. and Beulah M (Noland) Gerhard in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life July 13, 2022, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid graduating from Enid High School with the class of 1960. He married Delores Willshire on June 17, 1960, in Enid, Oklahoma where the couple made their home. Bill began working for Marrs Printing right after high school, that later became Phillips Printing; he retired in July 2019 after working for Marrs/Phillips for fifty-six years. He liked going to stock car races and raced enduro cars when he was younger, he also enjoyed bowling and absolutely loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Gerhard of Enid, Bill W. Gerhard of Enid, David and wife Terry Gerhard of Enid, Melody Gravitt and husband Ronald of Talihina, OK, Amy Dunlap and husband Monti of Enid; his grandchildren, Jason Gerhard, Kevin Gerhard, Brandy Tuttle, Brandon Gravitt, Ronnie Gravitt, and Katrina Gerhard; seven great grandchildren; two brothers; three sisters; and numerous other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Delores Gerhard; his parents; a son Anthony Gerhard; and sister Gloria Gerhard.
