Funeral services for Walter McAlister will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, August 9, 2023 in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dalton McAlister officiating. Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
Walter was born March 8, 1940 in Porum, Oklahoma to Tom and Mary (Tramell) McAlister, and passed away August 5, 2023. He is a retired Lieutenant from Enid Fire Department. Walter has built many houses in the Enid area. He loved the outdoors, especially in Colorado going fishing, hunting.
Walter is survived by his children, Debbie McAlister Gallander, Justin McAlister and wife Jamie; 5 grandchildren; 2 great- grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; a host of nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Josephine McAlister Booth.
Memorial donations may be made to Oklahoma Firefighters Burn Camp with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
