Vance’s 80th Anniversary Celebration

ENID, OK - You're invited to Vance’s 80th Anniversary Celebration. It will take place on the evening of Sept 17th at Woodring Regional Airport. This is a celebration of Air Force heritage, that will be free and open to the public.

The gates open at 5:00 pm. Vance’s heritage aircraft will land at approximately 5:45 pm. After the aircraft land, a 45-minute ceremony highlighting Vance AFB and the City of Enid will take place – beginning at 6:15 pm.

Attendees will have the chance to take pictures with planes, speak with pilots, enjoy the local food trucks, play in the kiddie area and enjoy the Oklahoma sunset. Immediately following the ceremony, a ticketed hangar dance sponsored by the Air Force Association, and hosted by the Vance Spouses’ Club begins at 8:00 pm. Tickets are available for purchase through the QR codes on the flyer.

Attendees for the ticketed dance are invited to wear 1940’s themed attire, cocktail dress attire, or short sleeve blues with an AFSC badge and nametag.
