ENID, OK - Alpha Sports Group is pleased to announce that there are two new women’s teams coming to Enid in the spring of 2021.
Oklahoma Sting will play in the Women’s Xtreme Basketball League. They will play a 14 game regular season schedule plus any post season appearance. "We will have local tryouts schedule in Jan. The Season will tip off in May. We are looking for coaches and staff." said Shawn Smith, League Commissioner.
Oklahoma Lightning Women’s Football will play in a 16 team league from National Women’s Football League. Teams range from Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisiana and Texas. They will play eight game regular season and playoffs as well. Smith said, "We are looking for a head coach and general manager to run the day to day operations of the team."
