Trenny B. Skrapke (Neal)

Tuesday, June 3rd, 1924 - Sunday, September 26th, 2021

Graveside Services for Trenny Skrapke will be 3:30 pm, Wednesday September 29, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Deacon Tony Crispo officiating. Services are under the direction Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Trenny was born June 3, 1924. She married Jess Skrapke on April 4, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jess and Trenny were quite adventurous early in their marriage. They would travel all over the United States exploring different areas where they thought they might like to lay down roots and raise a family.

The Skrapkes’ decided Oklahoma was their home and returned to Oklahoma City to start their family. Trenny enjoyed being a housewife. She loved cooking for her family and making sure her boys were always the best dressed kids in school. Trenny was also an entrepreneur. She traded in antiques and found great success in this endeavor. She loved dancing and she loved animals of all kinds. You always thought twice when she would say “Here I’ve got something for you” because there was no telling what type of critter she may have placed in your hand.

Trenny was widowed at 58 years old. At that time, she decided she would like to travel the world. She went on many trips abroad as well as throughout the United States. She was active in many card clubs and enjoyed a good game of cards. Trenny had a quick wit and was very spunky. Even as her last days approached, she could still come up with a clever remark.

Trenny is preceded in death by her husband Jess Skrapke. Trenny is survived by her sons Michael J. Skrapke and Rick R. Skrapke and his wife Rhonda. Her grandchildren are Angela Shackelford and husband Sam, Alan Skrapke and wife Lauren, Ashlee Gore and husband Kirk. Her great grandchildren are Cole Shackelford. Andrew Shackelford, Christopher Skrapke, Catherine Skrapke, Izabella, Ezra, Zane and Dezi Gore.

The family would like to express our sincerest thanks to Hospice Circle of Love for their compassion and care of Trenny and to all of the other health care workers who cared for her.
