A Mass of Christian Burial for Teresa Marie Mendenhall will be 11:00 am, Saturday, February 24, 2024, at St. Francis Xaiver Catholic Church with Father Mark Mason celebrating Teri’s life. Funeral and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Our beloved Teresa Marie Mendenhall passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024 at the age of 68. She was born in New Haven, CT to Tessie and Art Pratt on Easter morning, April 10, 1955, and raised in Guilford, CT. She graduated from Guilford High School in 1973, and lived in Boston, MA and Ft. Lauderdale, FL before meeting the love of her life, Tim Mendenhall, in Scarsdale, NY. After meeting and marrying Tim, she moved to Enid, OK, where she spent the last 43 years. The couple built an amazing, busy, and abundant life with their three daughters; Ryan Conner, Lyndsay Parker, and Morgan Sanderson.

Teri’s greatest passion was working with children. She volunteered in different roles at Glenwood Elementary School. Inspired by her love for children and children’s literature, she accepted a position as a Library Assistant at Glenwood Elementary School. That kick-started her career working in different capacities throughout the school. Her boundless energy, servant’s heart, and devotion to the Catholic faith led her to accept a job as a pre-school teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School. She was instrumental in helping the Parish open the school in 2001, and she continued to work there for 20-plus years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tim; daughters Ryan, Lyndsay, and Morgan; brother Mike Pratt; and sons-in-law Doug Conner, Charlie Parker, and Drew Sanderson. The greatest loves of her life were her grandchildren Claire Conner, Annie Conner, Charlie Parker, and Vera Parker, who affectionately referred to her as “Noni.”

She is preceded in death by her mother Tessie Pratt; her father Art Pratt; and her sister, Annie Metcalfe.

Memorial contributions in Teri’s name may be made to St. Joseph Catholic School with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
