Mass of Christian Burial for Stephen Conrady, 63, will be Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 11:00 am in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Reverends Mark Mason and Rajesh Mankena celebrants. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Enid, under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening form 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
Steve was born August 18, 1961 in Enid, Oklahoma to Philip Martin and Louise Marie (Fuxa) Conrady and passed away June 27, 2025 in Enid.
He grew up in Enid, attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Enid High in 1979. Steve attended Phillips University and Oklahoma State University. He enjoyed landscaping yards and flower gardens. Steve loved music, playing the guitar and leading choirs at different Catholic Churches. He was a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Steve worked as a case manager at Youth and Family Services for several years.
Steve started and served as the first chairman of the City of Enid Tree Board, board member of Enid Beautiful (Friends of Government Springs Park), member of Enid Symphonic Choir. He enjoyed being active with Main Street Enid and Gaslight Theatre.
He was always ready for a road trip, enjoyed going to Mass at different Catholic Churches across Oklahoma and enjoying the architecture of the many beautiful churches. Steve loved watching the OKC Thunder and enjoyed watching them win the NBA Championship just a few days ago.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Louise Conrady.
He is survived by two sisters, Sharon and husband, David Burke and Stacie and husband Freddie Simmons; nephew and niece, Jeremy Conrady, Kellee Rodriguez, Christopher Burke; special friends, Lillian Highfill and Jaquita Haws; other relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to OMRF(Heart), Gaslight Theatre, Enid Symphony Orchestra or Our Daily Bread.
