Graveside services for Sibyl Hobbs, 105, will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Chaplain Drew Drawbridge officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Sibyl was born on June 19, 1912 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to John and Sarah Rollins Cress and died on January 16, 2018 in Enid.

She grew up on a farm near Beggs, Oklahoma. On August 13, 1929, she married Denzel Hobbs in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. They lived in Oklahoma and Detroit. After WWII, they lived in southern California. Sibyl moved to Enid in 1977. She was a member of Central Assembly of God Church. She loved her family, gardening, cooking, traveling and camping.

Sibyl was preceded in death by her husband, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Lee Rush and Phyllis Kay Long and husband Jim, all of Enid; two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.
