Samantha "Sam" Jayden Frye

January 6th, 2004 - January 18th, 2022

Samantha "Sam" Jayden Frye was born January 6th, 2004 in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life to rest in the arms of her Mom on January 18th, 2022 in Nowata, Oklahoma at the young age of 18.

Sam was a bright strong willed young lady that didn't know a stranger. Upon meeting Sam, you were surely to get a big hug. Sam was working at the Sonic Drive-in in Nowata with her brother Elijah and she very much enjoyed her time there. She earned a spot in honor band playing her sax and was awarded a Superior rating. She enjoyed many things like anime, drawing, wrestling, singing, playing her saxophone, video gaming, and making Tik Tok videos where she had quiet the following.

Sam grew up in Enid and the surrounding areas where she attended school in Waukomis before moving to Florida briefly and attending school at Suwannee. She then moved to Nowata and attended Nowata Schools. Her final school was Epic Charter Schools where she was a Senior. She was offered four full ride scholarships and planned on attending college and aspired to be a Special Education Teacher. She learned to speak Japanese fluently and even some German.

Sam is survived by her Father, Blaine "Bubba" Frye, her brothers; Elijah Frye, Deiondre' McKinney and Zackary McKinney.

Her surviving Grandparents are Sammy & Kathy Frye, Janet Frye, Terry Otwell and Barb Gehay. Also, her Great Aunt Terri Oswald. Her Aunts and Uncles surviving are Shanon Frye & Michelle Leal, Michael & Cherilyn Keener, Chase Frye, James & Jamie Freelove, CJ & Ashley Freelove, Kyndra Heath, Tegan Hernandez, Jesse Harper, Terry Harper, Jerry Harper and Robby Malcom. Surviving Special Aunts & Uncles are Cole Ream, Trent & Sandy Petersen, John Gilbert, LaRessa Ratzlaff, Kerry "Grizz" & Rae Jean Beam and Brad Carpenter.

Sam is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins & Friends. Sam also leaves behind her Cousin & Best Friend, "Sister" Samilee Wheeler and her Best Friend Paisley.

Sam is preceded in death by her Mother, Brandy Freelove Frye, an older brother, Jaydrien Cox, her Grandparents Gary Freelove, Vicki Otwell and John Gehay, Great Grandparents Carl & Leola Freelove as well as her Cousin Jayse Freelove and her Special Uncle Neal Varner.

Sam will be remembered for years to come by all who knew her and loved her. She will forever be her Daddy's Punkin Butt.
