Russell W. Cormack, 60 of Garber, Ok passed from this life on July 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Cormack and mother, Idalee Ackley/Scott and a daughter, Leslie.
Russ lived on a farm near Danville Ks until the age of 10 when he moved with his family to Jet, Ok. At the age of 20, he entered the U.S Marine Corps for 5 years where he became a proficient marksman. He then attended Tulsa Welding School and worked at Chesterfield Cylinder & Advance Meat as a maintenance repairman.
He is survived by his wife, April of the home, 2 daughters, Kendra Laposi of Chula Vista, CA and Emily Wycoff of Enid, 3 sisters, Barbara Stevens of Enid, Kathy Thomas of Wakita, and Joyce Cox of McAlester Ok. He is also survived by 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Garber Ok at 4:30 P.M on Tuesday, July 19th. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Enid or American Cancer Society. No flowers please.
