Russell Eugene Dupus

The mass of Christian burial for Russell E. Dupus, 68 year-old Hunter resident will be Tuesday, August 25th at 12:00 P.M. in St Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Rev. Mark Mason will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

A visitation will happen Monday, the 24th, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Henninger-Hinson Chapel.

Russell was born June 1, 1958 in Hunter to Richard and Celia (Selix) Dupus and died unexpectedly in a house fire at his home in Hunter.

He attended Pond-Creek Hunter schools and graduated with the class 1976. Russell did farm work and was a Site Manager Superintendent for APN. He was a member of the Millwrighter's Union in Kansas for many years. On February 25, 1987 he married Nena Stone in Breckenridge, Oklahoma. Russell was a long-time member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

He and Nena love to ride their Harley-Davidson and took a four-week trip to New Mexico when she was still in good health.

He is survived by his son Derek Dupus and wife Kali of Breckenridge, two stepchildren, Detra and Rhonda, his Mother, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Nena and his father.
