Rosella Ann Kliewer

A Celebration of Life Service for Rosella Kliewer will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 12, 2022 in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Sommerfeld officiating. Cremation arrangements and services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Rosella was born April 20, 1947 in Aurora, Nebraska to Andrew and Esther (Braun) Kliewer and passed away March 9, 2022. She grew up on a farm in Nebraska, and moved to Enid when she was in the 4th grade. Rosella graduated from Enid High School in 1965. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from NWOSU. She taught English in Texas for several years. She later worked for the state of Texas at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center, from which she retired after 13 years of service. Upon retirement, she moved back to Enid to be closer to her family.

Rosella enjoyed photography, writing cards and letters, journaling, traveling with friends, and family get togethers. She loved attending plays. Rosella had an appreciation for history and enjoyed researching. Rosella had a special relationship with her siblings and took great care in being a good sister to them.

Rosella is survived by her sister, Patricia Kliewer, brothers, Dewayne and Alfred Kliewer; aunt, Dorothy Balzer; cousins, Mary Lou (Kroeker) Wiens, Debra Wells, Bryan Balzer, Kevin Balzer, Dianna Just, Lisa (Kroeker) Hamilton, Bradlee Kroeker, and Lauren (Kroeker) LaFon; as well as numerous loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial donations may be made to 4R Kids or The Billings Fairchild Center Activity Fund with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
