The funeral for Rex Morgan Jr., 60 year-old Enid resident is 2:00PM Friday, March 29, 2024 in the Henninger-Hinson Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Rex was born April 28, 1963 in Enid to Rex and Elsie (Krout) Morgan and died Sunday, March 24, 2024 in the North Garland Road Nursing Home.
He attended local schools and graduated with the class of 1981. Rex worked in the oil fields on derricks for much of his life. He lived in the Norman area for 15 years before returning to Enid. Rex was a loving father, grandfather and son. He loved life and fought hard to stay around with his family until God called him home. Rex loved music.
He is survived by his daughter Nichole Orr and husband Romaine of Enid, brother C.H. Morgan and wifeTerrie of Kentucky, and his sister Glenda McGhettigan of Enid. 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rex was preceded in death by his parents.
