Reba J. Folsom

The Funeral services celebrating and honoring the life of Reba J. Folsom, 86, of Enid will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday December 27, 2019 in the Brown's Funeral Home Chapel in Atoka Oklahoma with the Reverend Bill Sluder officiating. Burial will follow in the Folsom Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home, Enid and Brown’s Funeral Home, Atoka.

Reba was born in Lubbock, Texas on September 12, 1933 to Benjamin and Ethel Sluder Mofield and passed from this life on December 22, 2019 in Enid with her family by her side.

Reba spent her childhood in the Forrest Hill and Harmony communities. She married Olen Curry in 1950 in Atoka and from this union came three children. She then married the love of her life Alvin C. Folsom July 24, 1961 in Tahlequah. The family then moved to Enid where she worked for Pioneer Telephone and retired after twenty-four years of employment at the Enid State School. Her biggest hobby was fishing and spending time camping and cooking. She was a member of Abundant Life Church where she taught Sunday School and spent many hours in the Ladies Ministry. She is survived by her three children, Glynda Curry Wehrman, and Mark, Doyle Curry, and Janet, and Leeta Curry Unruh, six grandchildren, Roger Glenn Sipes and Regina Sipes, of Atoka, Oklahoma, Jeff Mafi and Gretchen, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Jennifer Spess, and Mark, of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Chris Curry and Robin, of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Heather Marshall, of Mustang, Oklahoma, seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren, three brothers, Earl Mofield, of Bently, Oklahoma, John Darst, of Tushka, Oklahoma, and Don Darst, of Eureka, California, sister, Christen Bottoms of Lodi, California and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Folsom, one sister, Nelda Johnson, and two brothers, Loyd and Lonnie Mofield.
