"Ready To Read" Reading Program

ENID, OK - It's time to sign your kids up for the Ready To Read Reading Program open to students in 2nd thru 4th grades. Campers can enhance reading skills and get "Ready To Read."

Camp takes place Tuesday, May 30 thru Friday, June 2 at Garfield Elementary School, 400 East 7th St. The “Ready to Read” summer reading camp will be for four days from 9am to 3pm. It is open to any student who attended 2nd, 3rd, & 4th grades for the 2016-2017 school year.

Ready to Read Campers will:
• Read Books and Kindle Pads
• Play Reading Board Games
• Practice Reading Fluency with Skits
• Use Puzzles, Flash Cards, & Other Activities to Enhance Reading
• Enjoy daily snacks

The “Ready to Read” camp and meals are free; but you must pre-register your child before camp. Please, complete the registration form prior to May 25 and return it to your school or mail it to the United Way of Enid & NW Oklahoma, 2300 N. 10th St., Enid, OK 73703.

There will be free breakfast and lunch provided as well. If you have or know a student who is in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade; please, let them know about the "Ready to Read" Summer Reading Camp.
