Celebration of Life for Randy George will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, in the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory.
Randy Dean George was born on November 3rd, 1953 in Hondo, Texas to Lester Vergil and Clara Alice George. He passed away on February 25th, 2025 peacefully in his home.
Randy was the youngest of 5 children, his brothers are Verl, Merl, Lee and his sister Lela. He started his work career at Hackney Iron back in the 70’s and later went to Farmland Nitrogen plant in Enid where he moved up to supervisor and was there for 10 years. During those 10 years he married Norma Jones on October 5th 1974 and they had three daughters Gina, Amy and Chrissy. In 1985 he then moved his family to Kenai, Alaska for a better job at ConocoPhillips. In 1994 he then moved his family back to be closer to the family, but he continued to fly back and forth to work until 2011 when he retired. Randy and Norma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2024.
He is proceeded in death by Lester, Clara, Lee, Lela and Merle George, and his is survived Verl, Norma, Gina, Amy and Chrissy; his 6 grandchildren Cassie, Cody, Brandon, Marissa, Derek and Nathan; and 8 great grandchildren Marley, Lucas, Atti, Ellis, Kinsley, Paisley, Blakley and Rylan.
