The graveside service for Ramona Thedford, 88 year-old Enid resident is 10:00AM Monday, July 28, 2025 in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
Ramona was born January 7, 1937 in Morgantown, West Virginia to Kenneth and Imogene (Hill) Koerper and died Thursday, July 24, 2025 in St. Mary's Hospital.
Ramona was raised in Irontown, Ohio where she attended local schools and graduated with the class of 1955. On June 18, 1956 she married Dale Thedford in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The couple made their home in Enid where Ramona worked with Champlin Oil Company until they began starting their family. Ramona raised four children and was a wonderful homemaker.
She was active in the Willow Road Christian Church for many years. She and Dale loved to travel in their motor-home. She also loved all kinds of puzzles.....crossword, jigsaw, word-search, was an avid reader and enjoyed movies, just not scary ones!!!!
Ramona is survived by her four children; Kay King of Enid, Becky Wilson also of Enid, Michael Thedford and wife Kam of Joshua, Texas, and Lori and Bobby Schoenberg of Garfield, Arkansas. Nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. One brother, Harold "Bub" Koerper, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Kenneth Ray, two sisters, Katie Fischer and Kay Ainsworth, and son-in-law Mahlon.
