Q•Spot Is Closing

ENID, OK - The owners of the iconic Q•Spot have announced on social media that they are closing the doors on September 28, 2019. They will be selling much of the contents inside the building including pool tables, coolers and many other items.
-
An appreciation day for Q•Spot was held in April with several Enid musicians taking the stage. It was all in appreciation of the Q•Spot, a local establishment that has supported and provided live music in Enid for many years.
-
David and Suzy Himes are the owners of the Q•Spot, a local pool hall, and they have been providing live music in Enid since 1995. Most recently they have been having entertainment every Tuesday night and many times on weekends, too. Most bands in Enid have played there at one time or another and they also bring in bands from all over. They have had bands from Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Missouri, Colorado, California, Arkansas, Florida, and Israel.

The Q•Spot building has been for sale since the end of 2018. They are located at 221 W. Cherokee.

So sad to hear this. The place is an institution. My husband and I used to be regulars from 1975 – 1987. We went when we first started dating, then we would bring our babies with us and shoot pool forever and listen to the jukebox. At the time it was all we could afford. Good clean wholesome entertainment We knew the owners well. Lots of great memories.
