Pansy Ellen Randolph (Steele)

Pansy “Ellen” Hole Randolph, age 97, passed away peacefully Monday. August 1, 2022. There will be a visitation Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home from 7-8pm. A Celebration of Life service for Ellen will be 2:00pm, Friday, August 5, 2022 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Kim Domnick and George Lupton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Ellen was born March 29, 1925 in Stringtown, Oklahoma to Bert and Cora (Harris) Steele. Ellen and William “Bill” Edward Hole were married in 1944. They met while he was home, in Enid, on shore leave, from the Navy and she was his waitress. They soon married and when he was discharged after World War II, they purchased the farm that his grandmother had homesteaded in the land run, northeast of Enid. For 47 years they worked the farm and raised their six children, and many nieces and nephews.

Ellen is survived by her children, Mary Craig, Bill Hole, Jr. and wife Shirley, Goldie English and husband Jim, Betty Sissom and husband Floyd, Danny Hole and wife Jeannie; son-in-law, Rick Willingham; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren.

Ellen was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Kremlin Community United Methodist Church. She loved children, traveling, playing cards especially when she was beating her brothers, to dance and go to the casinos.

In 2000, she married Johnnie Randolph and she acquired seven stepchildren, Danny and Sharon Randolph, Joanna Slough, Ronnie and Charlotte Randolph, Stella and Keith Barnum; brother-in-law; 4 sisters-in-law; 8 step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild, making their home in Kremlin.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Bill” Hole; daughter, Donna Willingham; brothers, Alex, Bert Jr., Henry, Frank, Buck, Sherman, George Steele; sisters, Lucille Wilson, Ann Unruh; grandson, Keith English; granddaughters, Annette Butler, Amy Bower; son-in-law, Jim Craig.

Memorials may be made to the Kremlin Community United Methodist Church with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
