New “Musical Trio on the Trail” Sculpture Installed

ENID, OK - The City of Enid officials and the Public Arts Commission of Enid (PACE) announced today that a new sculpture has been placed along the Enid trail. The sculpture, “Musical Trio on the Trail,” was created by the artist Faducci and consists of three animals native to Oklahoma, (coyote, armadillo, and racoon) holding steel drums. The piece is meant to be interactive and residents can test their drumming skills by playing the drums held by the animals.

Faducci, is a sculptor from California whose sculpture conveys animal emotional characteristics creating a link between the human animal world through his unique blend of naturalism and realism. His art derives from his love of nature and his deep connection to animals.

Mayor David Mason said, “This newest piece of art on the trail is another great example of ‘Enid on the Move’ and I’m very proud of the selection that the Public Arts Commission of Enid made. They continue to work very hard to bring great public art to Enid!”

“Musical Trio on the Trail” can be seen slightly east on the Enid Trail off of Hayes Street between Seneca Avenue and Huron Street.
