Funeral services for Nancy C. Hare, age 85, of Enid, will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Miles officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nancy was born June 4, 1940, in Cherokee, Oklahoma to Robert and Opal (Walker) Werner, and she passed away Thursday, September 11, 2025, in Enid.
She graduated from Helena High School in 1958. She married Allen Hare on October 9, 1988, in Enid. They made their home in Enid where Allen was serving in the Air Force and stationed at Vance Air Force Base. Following his discharge from the Air Force, he worked for the United States Post Office. They attended Liberty Southern Baptist Church where she was active in many capacities. She was a loving and caring person to everyone she met. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, embroidery, and spending time with her beloved dog Bear.
Nancy is survived by her friends and caretakers, Don, and Rhonda Dixon, of Enid, and her dog, Bear. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Allen Hare, and son Robert.
Memorial contributions in Nancy's name may be made to Liberty Southern Baptist Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
