Micheal Vaughn Good (“Mike”), 53, son of Mike and Janice Good of Enid, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026. He was born on December 15, 1972 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He moved to Enid shortly after, where he lived his life calling Garfield county home. Mike graduated from Chisholm High School in 1991 and received a football scholarship to play at Washburn College in Topeka, Kansas. Upon returning home, Mike held a number of positions within the trucking industry, Vaughn Good Oil and the US Postal Service. Mike was a big man with an even bigger heart. His favorite pastime was watching his two daughters playing sports. He was also passionate about flying planes, Oklahoma State Football, Lego modeling and Nascar racing. Mike was a loving father, brother and son.
He is survived by two daughters Kendyll Good of Enid and Tatum Long of Oklahoma City, and their mother Holly Good of Enid; his mother Janice Good of Grand Lake, his step father Bruce Mason of Enid; brothers and sisters Heather White and husband Chris of Heath, Texas, Katy Young and husband Paul of Norman, Jon Good and wife Mandy of Enid, Sarah Burnett of Enid, Brent Mason of Enid, Bethany Stuckey and husband Logan of Houston, Texas, and Brenna Larson and husband Matt of Wichita, Kansas.
Mike is preceded in death by his brother Brian Mason, his father Mike Good, his mother Susan Mason and his grandparents Vaughn and Laura Good.
Funeral service for Mike will be Friday, September 11, 2026 at 10:00 am in Anderson-Burris Chapel with Pastor Chuck Kearney officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
