Messy Mentor Mom shares her tips on parenting, life, families and more.

Spring has sprung!!!

There are four parts to every person; physical, intellectual, relational, and spiritual.  Spring is a great time to address and take inventory of each of these areas. Some simple things to engage in… Physical:  begin to restore your health to build wellness, dust off the dumbbells and take the clothes off the treadmill or take a walk outdoors.  Intellectual:  Build your mind;  learn a new word in a  language you’ve been curious about, listen to a new inspirational speaker, start a new book.  Relational:  Ask children and spouses, open ended questions such as “What was the best part of your day?”    Spiritual:  Ask questions, read Scripture, be brave and visit a church, ….. Easter, for believers, is the season celebrating  Jesus conquering  death so that we have eternal life.  Read John 15:3-5

The dictionary defines “spring” as a season, coil, leap, bounce, launch, elasticity, flexibility, movement, and jump.   Spring is living up to its name.   Temperatures are showing great elasticity, movement, and flexibility; bunnies and chicks leap, bounce and jump around.

Spring has sprung!!!  Be part of the newness, freshness and wakefulness in all areas of your life.  All four parts are needed.  Just think of the concept like a wheel divided into four parts.  If one slice of the pie is missing, then the wheel doesn’t roll as smoothly.  Our lives are similar.  When we develop and experience fully the four areas as individuals, our lives run smoother.   “Spring” into Spring!

Have a super duper week.
