Merry Lee Nafus

December 26, 1947 - April 10, 2021

Merry Lee Nafus, 73, died Saturday, April 10, 2021 after a short battle with colon cancer. Lee was born December 26, 1947 in Stillwater, the daughter of Leslie E. and Natalie (Coldiron) Beckham.

Lee was an avid reader, a lifelong supporter of the arts, live music lover, a bunny mommy to many adopted pet rabbits, a sports car racing enthusiast, and longtime member of Beta Sigma Phi. She worked for Central National Bank (now Stride Bank) in Enid for almost 30 years, leaving to become owner of Buck’s Party Shop along with her loving husband of 43 years, Steve Nafus, owner of Buck’s Wine & Spirits.

Lee is survived by her husband, Steve; sister-in-law, Stacey Nafus Andreasen of Lee’s Summit, MO; niece, Christine Andreasen of Denver, CO; nephew, David Andreasen of Kansas City, MO; and many cousins and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.
