Mary Ellen Campbell

June 29, 1930 - August 31, 2020

Mary Ellen Campbell wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many, died peacefully in her home in Ringwood, Oklahoma on August 31, 2020. She was surrounded by her family, who loved her and got to spend her last day with her.

Mary Ellen was born and raised in Ringwood. She married the love of her life, Waldo Campbell (deceased); they were happily married 63 years. They built a beautiful and simple life together that revolved around their faith, family and ranch. She was a homemaker and a necessary farmhand on Campbell Farms. Mary Ellen began taking painting classes in her 40’s and discovered she had a natural talent for painting. She loved sports and could be found cheering in the stands at every game for her grandchildren.

Mary Ellen was a faithful follower of Jesus, she taught many Bible studies and Sunday School classes, and loved talking about theology with her son and grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Waldo, her daughter Darlene, and several brothers and sisters. She will be dearly missed by her family that remain this side of heaven, her son Steve L Campbell and his wife Loretta (Ringwood), her grandchildren Angie Young and her husband Luke and their family (Guthrie) and Brent Campbell and his wife Jade and their family (Ringwood).
