Local Girl Scouts Place In Kidwind Challenge

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma Service Unit 603 from Enid, Oklahoma had two teams go and compete this past Saturday in Oklahoma City at Kidwind Challenge.

The girls had to develop a windmill and test it with different pitch, blades, gears and more. They worked for days developing the perfect project to take to competition. Both teams placed.

Troop 16 took three Juniors and 1 Cadette to competition. They placed 2nd qualifying them for Nationals in Houston, Texas on May 21st, 2019. Troop 726 took four 4th graders and 1 one 5th grader to competition. They placed 3rd.
