Linda Jo Harris was born to Rochester and Josephine McBlair on October 28, 1951 in Enid, OK. She departed this world on January 23, 2026, at the age of 74 after complications from cancer treatment.
Linda attended Adams Elementary, Longfellow Junior High, and Enid High School. She married the love of her life, Martin Harris, in 1978 and they made their home in Enid. Linda worked various jobs throughout her life, including Ed’s Grocery, TG&Y, Northrop, and the YWCA. She also assisted in the family business.
Linda was loved by everyone. She was a very giving person with a feisty, independent nature. Family was so very important to her, and she absolutely adored being a grandmother. She loved cheering on her grandson in baseball and her granddaughter in basketball.
After Martin’s passing, Linda rarely liked to stay at home. She loved to frequent McDonalds for her morning coffee and take her little furry friend, Maggie, on rides around the city. She would never say no to a trip out of town. She was a huge country music fan and loved her trip to Nashville in 2018. Her favorite thing to do was play slots at the casino, calling it her second home.
Linda leaves behind two daughters, Crystal McCoy and husband Dirk and Kristi Brooks and husband Phillip, one grandson, Coleton McCoy and wife Desiray, one granddaughter, Olivia McCoy, one great-granddaughter, Everleigh McCoy, one brother, Mike McBlair and wife Nancy, numerous nieces, and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, mother, father, and one brother, Jim McBlair. Heaven gained a great lady. She will be truly missed by everyone.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to DAV.
