Leonard Lee Lamb Sr.

Leonard Lee Lamb, Sr. was born January19, 1934 in Tulsa, OK to Luther Lee Lamb and Florence Maxine Lewis and passed away on January 5, 2023 in Enid, Ok.

Leonard married Gayle Elaine McLaughlin on October 27, 1956 in Council Bluff, Iowa and began their life together as a military family. They had three children and had many family adventures while traveling all over the world making many military and church friends along the way. After 28 years in the U.S. Air Force, they settled in Enid, Oklahoma.

He served as a Deacon at Central Assembly of God Church and was a constant figure through the years. Leonard and Gayle led College and Career, Merry Windows, Senior Saints and contributed to many other ministries within the church. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and RVing all over.

Leonard was proceeded in death by his parents, Luther and Florance Lewis; loving wife Gayle Elaine Lamb; sisters Linda Wilson, Letha Purdom; brothers Danny Lamb and John Lamb; other relatives and friends.

He is survived by his three children, Leonard Lamb, Jr., Cheryl Phillips, and Brenda Carr, seven grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Funeral Service for Leonard Lee Lamb, Sr., 88 of Enid, will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 10:00am in Central Assembly of God Church with Pastor Steve Lance officiating. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
