Laurene Rogers Dobbs, was born on April 15, 1937, and was called home to her Heavenly Father and her Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ on February 2, 2017.
Laurene was preceded in death by twin sisters; Arlene & Ilene, her parents Ora D. & Hazel M. Campbell Rogers, her brother Buddy D. Rogers, and her husband Billy Lee Dobbs.
Laurene and Bill were married 63 years.
Laurene is survived by two daughters; Kathy Dobbs of Enid, and Diane Dobbs Allison and husband Troy of Skiatook; a son Ricky Dobbs of Kearney, MO; two beautiful granddaughters; Ashlee Dobbs Massey, also of Kearney, and Amber Dobbs Krueger of Pleasant Valley, MO; along with three cherished great-grandchildren: Maddox Chenoweth, Easton Massey and Avery Massey, also of Kearney, MO.
Laurene also leaves behind a “family of close friends” at the Arbors Assisted Living Quarters in Enid, where she had been a resident for the past eleven years.
A Memorial Service will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials/donations can be made to the American Heart Association or Enid SPCA.
