Kevin Thomas Carmichael

A Celebration of Life Service for Kevin Thomas Carmichael, age 55, of Enid, will be 1:00 pm, Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home with J.W. “Billy” Bowen officiating. Burial with military honors provided by the United States Marines will be in the Oakland-Knowles Cemetery in Crescent, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Kevin was born May 27, 1966 in Beaver, Kansas to Connie (Taylor) Carmichael, and passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Kevin graduated from Wellston High School in Wellston, Oklahoma with the class of 1984, and then went directly into the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country for four years. After being discharged, he moved back to Oklahoma and began working for Locke Supply. He then dedicated the next 30 years to growing the Locke Supply brand by proudly going above and beyond for his customers. During this time, he found his true mission in life was to lay a solid foundation for his family, and raise his children to be hard working, honest contributors to society.

He is survived by his wife Marie, of the home in Enid; two sons, Scott Carmichael and wife Kelsey, of Copan, OK; Toby Carmichael and wife Whitney, of Mustang, OK; three daughters, Kayla Hott, of Mustang, OK; Ashley Landwehr and husband Brandon Turner, of Enid, OK; Amanda Landwehr, of Enid; nine grandchildren, Kayden Hott-Miles, Zayne Miles, Jace Hott, Kye Turner, Toby Carmichael, Jax Carmichael, Lucas Miles, Bryson Carmichael, and Riley Turner. His sister, Tami Byrne and husband Michael, of St. Augustine, FL., brother, Rick Carmichael and wife Patricia, of Porter, OK.; and brother Allan Carmichael also survive him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Connie Carmichael, two uncles, Jerry and Tommy Taylor; and two aunts, Carol Pierce, and Rita Gibson.

Memorial contributions in Kevin’s name may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
