Kenny D. Nealis

January 17, 1964 — March 24, 2026

A Celebration of Life Service for Kenneth “Kenny” D. Nealis, Jr., age 62, of Grove, Oklahoma, formerly of Enid, will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Oakwood Christian Church with Gary Scott officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.

Born January 17, 1964, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to Kenneth D. Sr. and Barbara (Elmore) Nealis, Kenny grew up with a big heart, a bright smile, and an unshakable work ethic. He graduated from Cashion High School in 1982, a proud Wildcat through and through. Not long after, he began his hardworking career with McKellar Well Service and Coca-Cola, later joining Oklahoma Natural Gas, where he devoted many years before retiring in 2014.

Kenny married the love of his life, Teresa Timm, on October 10, 1987, in Enid, Oklahoma. Together, they built a life centered on faith, family, laughter, and a deep love for the outdoors. In 2014, they settled in Grove, where Kenny embraced a slower pace that allowed him more time for the things he loved most—fishing, and being surrounded by those he loved. His happiest days were spent on the water, with a fishing rod in hand and his family close by.

Kenny’s warmth and humor drew people in, and his loyalty kept them close. He had a knack for making ordinary days special—whether it was cheering on his sons, laughing with his grandkids, or sharing stories with his many friends. His love for life was genuine, and it showed in every smile and every hug.

Kenny is survived by his devoted wife Teresa; his beloved sons; Blake and Kassidy Nealis, and Bo and wife Shelby Nealis; his mother Barbara Nealis; his cherished grandchildren Paityn, Tucker, Talon, Rylynn, Karsyn, and Rynlee; siblings Mary Stewart and Greg Cochran, Richard and wife Geny Nealis, Danny and wife Sarah Nealis, Randy Nealis, Donna Cue and husband Lance; in-laws Herschel and Karen Timm; brother in law Rodney and Deena Timm; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth D. Nealis, Sr.

Though Kenny’s time here ended too soon, his spirit continues to shine in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will live on in every fishing trip, every family gathering, and every moment shared in his memory.

Memorial contributions can be made in Kenny’s name to Future Fisherman Foundation with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodians of the funds.
