John Edward Schultz

A Celebration of Life for John Edward “Eddie” Schultz, age 81, of Enid, is 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Jones officiating. The United States Army will provide military honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

John Edward Schultz was born in Rapid City, South Dakota to Frank and Anna Rose (Qualls) Schultz, and passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He attended Port Townsend High School, class of 1956. Eddie was an Active Duty Army Veteran serving from July 31, 1956 to May 11, 1962.
John owned a Texaco Fuel Station and “Fast Eddie’s” Auto Shop in Port Townsend, Washington. He was a member of the “Figure 8” Auto Racing Association during the 1970’s, driving the #74 Super Stock. He retired from mechanic work in 2007 and moved to Oklahoma to ride his horse and enjoy his days.

He is survived by his wife Vivian; his 10 children and their spouses; 9 grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; nieces nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna, and his sisters Betty and Francis.

Memorial contributions in Eddie’s name may be made to the Integris Bass Foundation or Bennie’s Barn with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
