John Clinton Renshaw was born October 25, 1928 at home on the farm in Kingfisher County to Clint Renshaw and Versa (McCaleb) Renshaw. On June 19, 1948 John married the love of his life, Ella "Colleen" Robinson from Hennessey, and they were happily married 71 years.

John is survived by three children; Darla Renshaw and spouse, Glenn Rowley; Ronnie Renshaw; Connie Bolt and spouse, Brian Bolt; five grandchildren, Chandra Moore, Clinton Renshaw (Jackie), Chayla Rowley, Ryan Bolt, Alec Rowley; great grandchildren, Kierstyn, A.J., Clayton, Katelyn, and Karrigan; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

John was a Lacy High School graduate, class of 1947. After marriage John and Colleen established a Holstein dairy farm they operated for 34 years. John began farming when he was 10 years old until retirement at age 84. He was a good steward of the land producing wheat, alfalfa, corn, sorghum, and mung beans through the years. John kept farm machinery running with innovation and creativity, finding special uses for baling wire and duct tape. He loved nature and was an avid quail hunter. John and Colleen enjoyed playing pitch with friends, chocolate, Country Western music, and holding hands on the porch swing watching sunsets.

On September 18, 2021 John, age 92, joined his beloved wife, Colleen, continuing their forever love, dancing in the house of the Lord. Here he is joined by a host of family and friends who proceeded him in death.

Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home, Enid, OK was the site for a memorial service held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:30 am, honoring John's life with family and friends. A grave side service will be held at the Hennessey Cemetary at a later date.
