James Birl Blesener

September 16,1957 - December 31, 2020

Born the third child of Frances(Garrett) and Alfred J. Blesener, James entered this world September 16,1957 in Del Rio, Texas. Being born into a military family, James traveled the world, living in France, Germany, Maryland, Texas and eventually moving to Enid, Oklahoma where James would call home.

After leaving his career in the army, James worked in the oilfield for various companies.

As a talented mechanic, James could repair just about anything. He enjoyed repairing cars to overhauling a lawnmower. James always was ready to help family, friends or a complete stranger. James had a heart of gold.

James loved to fish. His largest catches....a 26-pound Blue catfish and a 42-pound salmon....sometimes fisherman tend to exaggerate...but we believed him!

James succumbed to cancer after a courageous battle on December 31, 2020 and went to his heavenly home. He was proceeded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.

James is survived by his sisters Terri Blesener, Sue Wilson and husband Rick brothers, Donnie and John Blesener, nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
