The Funeral services celebrating and honoring the life of Jacinda Taylor, 46, of Guthrie, formerly of Enid will be held privately for the family at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday May 05, 2020 in the Life Church of Edmond, 4600 East 2nd St, Edmond, OK. with Pastor Erin Crain officiating. Burial will follow in the Enid Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home. Due to the current gathering restrictions all services may be viewed in real time on our Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Facebook page. She was born on September 03, 1973 to Michael Baker and Leta Dwyer Hyatt in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life on April 29, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was raised and educated in Drummond where she attended school until the 10th grade. She then moved with her family to Hennessey where she graduated from Hennessey High School in 1991. She moved to Enid where she worked in the Walmart Pharmacy. She married Shea Taylor on August 22, 1995 in the Willow View Methodist Church. In 1998 they moved to Tulsa where she began to work for Scott’s Miracle Grow. She moved with her family to Waxahachie, TX and then to Guthrie in 2016, continuing her career with Scott’s Miracle Grow. Following she accepted a position with Home Depot as their Supervisor and worked at this position until she was recently unable due to her health. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid fan of O.S.U Football games, shopping, and decorating the family house. She was devoted to her church and could be seen there on Sunday mornings. Above everything else she loved and adored her family most of all.

She is survived by her husband, Shea Taylor, children, Emma Taylor, Kailee Taylor, and Kasen Taylor, mother, Leta Hyatt.

She was preceded in death by her father Michael Baker and grandparents Cleracy and Melvin Dwyer, grandpa Loyd Baker and mother in law Donna Jean Taylor.

Memorials in her name may be made to the Taylor Family Children’s Scholarship Fund with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
