Holy Cross Vendor Fair and Capital Campaign

ENID, OK - Holy Cross will be launching its Capital Campaign with a vendor fair, silent auction, food, music and more. The vendor fair will recur the 2nd Saturday of each month through October, to raise money for aid programs to the homeless and poor through The Sanctuary Resource Center.

The Sanctuary Resource Center serves clients in approximately 1,000 service visits each month, including emergency food assistance, shelter during inclement weather, case management and referral to local, state and federal resources, laundry and transportation to needed services.

They are launching a $102,000 capital campaign, in three phases:

Phase 1: $23,000 This includes an EMERGENT need for $1,800 to cover repairs. The remainder of the phase 1 total covers the addition of a handicap-accessible bathroom and shower for unsheltered guests, ceiling and window repairs, and a handicap-accessible minibus, to take people to social service and medical appointments, and to provide transportation assistance to those in our growing drug and alcohol recovery network (accessing job interviews, work, appointments, AA meetings etc.)

Phase 2: $35,000 to upgrade the HVAC and electrical wiring at St. Stephens – desperately needed.

Phase 3: $44,000 for fire suppression (to enhance safety amid our growing usage), floor refinishing, and privacy fencing around the property, both for security and for the benefit of our neighbors.
