ENID, OK - Hideaway Pizza, the Tulsa-based company known for great specialty pizza, an extensive list of build-your-own toppings, and fried mushrooms is scheduled to make its Enid debut on Monday, January 31, at 2201 West Garriott Road.
Although originally set to open in late summer, supply chain issues and construction delays pushed back the official launch date. The 6,500 square-foot pizzeria, located in The District, will offer 224 seats, a full bar, a sprawling patio, and convenient curbside carry-out for online and call-in orders.
“The city of Enid has been clamoring for a Hideaway Pizza to call its own,” said Co-Owner Brett Murphy. “We know it’s taken longer than anticipated but we’re in a great location and we can’t wait to welcome first-time visitors and longtime fans after the first of the year.”
“We’ve been amazed by the reception we’ve received so far, even with the delays, and we’re looking forward to opening our 21st location,” says Darren Lister, Hideaway Pizza Co-Owner. “You’ll definitely feel a sense of familiarity when you walk through the doors, but you’ll encounter some surprising elements as well.”
A custom eight-foot collage depicting Enid’s history will be on display in the main dining area while the 12-seat bar will serve a specially brewed hefeweizen from Enid Brewing Company.
Open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Hideaway will offer four different types of pizza crust including Stillwater original thin, hand-tossed, gluten-free, and cauliflower when they start serving in Enid.
Those interested in joining the opening team can apply online at hidewaypizza.com in December for server, support, bar, and kitchen positions. Kitchen crew members can expect $14 per hour to start with previous work experience and $13 to start without. In addition to base pay and tips, bar staff and servers have the opportunity to collect extra commission on certain items.
