Help Feed A Family This Thanksgiving

ENID, OK - My Country 103.1 KOFM and Jumbo Foods are teaming up with The Salvation Army to feed area families in need this Thanksgiving. When you're out shopping at any of the three Jumbo Foods locations, let the cashier know you'd like to buy a Thanksgiving Dinner for a family.

From now until November 21, Feeding Families meals can be purchased for $30 at checkout at any of the 3 Jumbo Foods locations in Enid. The meal includes a turkey, trimmings, and a pie for needy families in our area. The meals will be delivered to those families ahead of Thanksgiving.

When asked why Jumbo Foods was so excited to participate in Feeding Families, Patrick Blevins stated “As a company, one of our goals is to make sure no one in Enid goes hungry. Feeding Families aligns very well with those goals.”

“The holiday season can be so tough, especially for those families who struggle to put food on the table,” says Alan Clepper, on-air favorite at KOFM, “we wanted to do something that will help make the holiday season a little brighter for those families.”

The Salvation Army in Enid has served over 26,000 meals in 2023, according to The Salvation Army’s Captain David Brittle, in addition to over 2,000 grocery orders provided. These numbers show the staggering need families in our area are facing.

General Manager Bob Villones said “We are so excited to partner with our friends at Jumbo Foods for Feeding Families. Their passion for serving the community is amazing. I know that this will become annual tradition”.
