Grover McKinley Duffield, Jr.

Services for Grover McKinley Duffield, Jr., 66, Enid resident, will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 2, 2021 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Grover was born on December 2, 1954 in Salisbury, Maryland, the son of Grover, Sr and Roxie Ellen Price Duffield, and passed away peacefully on November 17, 2021 in Enid.Grover was born on December 2, 1956 in Salisbury, Maryland. He was married to the late Melissa Kaye (Barnett) Duffield who departed this life on April 29, 2020. Grover was previously married to Diana , and raised 2 children, Latoya and Derrick Duffield. Grover was a dedicated Army Veteran and served in the military for twenty years. After retirement from the military services, he worked as a city employee for the city of Enid, Oklahoma. Grover and Melissa raised a son, Josh Brown who now supports and raises a family (wife Sydney and a baby boy named John John).

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Josh Brown of Enid, Oklahoma, Latoya Duffield and Derrick Duffield of New York City. He will also be remembered by his siblings: Older Brother Dwight O and (MiCha) Duffield of Palmdale, California, Timothy A. and (Willia Mae) Duffield of Preston, Maryland, Mona L. and (Paul) Morris of Georgetown, Delaware, Eric Savage of Laurel, Delaware, Chanel and (Sharon) Sturgis of Georgetown, Delaware, James K. IV and (Natalie) Beckwith of Chester, Pennsylvania, Darien Beckwith of Selbyville, Delaware, Yvonne White of Salisbury, Maryland. There are many Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and grandchildren that could not be mentioned.

Grover became interested in the craft of making model cars at an early age of eight or nine years old. At the later age of twelve, he became interested in working on real cars and until his reason passing, he remained in the art of remodeling cars and attending events at the auto race track.

To all the families that could not be mentioned, May all these families be truly blessed: Price, Hopkins, Strogier, McCray, and Hight.
