Funeral service for Geraldine Harding, 80 of Waukomis, will be 1:00 PM Monday, October 19, 2020 at Waukomis Christian Church with Rev. Dave Jones officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery in Loyal Oklahoma. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Geraldine was born April 6, 1940 in Oakwood, Oklahoma to Wilmer Welcome and Helen Florene (Koen) Grinstead and passed away on Wednesday October 14, 2020 in Enid.
Geraldine married Verlyn Dale “Bud” Harding on March 16, 1962 in Canton, Oklahoma. She worked as a nurses aid at several nursing homes. Geraldine was a member of the Waukomis Christian Church and thought the world of Paster Dave and Linda. She loved to eat KFC and drink root beer. She was a member of the Cheyenne Arapaho Tribe. Geraldine always talked about her grandkids and great grandkids and was extremely proud of all of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents Welcome and Florene Grinstead, grandma Mattie Koen, husband Bud, sister Sharon Roach, granddaughter Aryka, and her brother Gerald. Geraldine is survived by her children Randy and wife Alycia Harding, Sherry and husband David Sheets, and Susan Harding; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her sister Joan Murray.
Memorial may be made through Anderson-Burris to Waukomis Christian Church.
