Mass of Christian Burial for Francis Matussak, 86 of Enid, will be 10:00 AM, Friday, August 11, 2017, at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church with Rev Joseph Irwin as celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Recitation of the Rosary will be 6:00 PM, Thursday evening at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Francis was born to Joe Joseph and Anna (Troska) Matussak, on December 3, 1930, in Enid, and passed away on Wednesday, August 09, 2017, in Enid.

Francis grew up in Enid and graduated from Memorial High School. He married Turah Cline in 1960 and they made their home in Enid, where they raised their family. Francis worked for Oklahoma Glass and Wallpaper. He was charter member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, he served on the Calvary Cemetery Board for many years, and was a member of Remote Control Flying Club. Francis later married Mildred Dowers.

He is survived by his wife Mildred; children Linda Lyon of Enid, Leota Musto of Peoria, Arizona, Randy Vrska of Claremore, Rita Waltrip of Tucson, Arizona, Mary Wilson of Norman, David Matussak of Claremore, Joe Matussak of McKinney, Texas, and James Matussak of Claremore; 18 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Turah in 1997, and 3 granddaughters.
