Enid Writer Has New Book Available

ENID, OK - Enid writer, Nancy Burgett, held a signing party for her first book, "Look at This, Seeing God's Fingerprints in the Lives of the Developmentally Disabled" on Saturday at 4RKids.

Taking 10 years to complete, it contains 18 short stories from her and 22 from others, many of which are from Enid! ALL proceeds will benefit 4RKids as the upstart costs have been taken care of.

Nancy explained, "Growing up in Enid with a severely developmentally disabled sister influenced this project...she was the first child of my parents, Olive and Duane Traylor, in 1950. My parents lived here until their passings. My sister died when I was a senior at Enid High School but the compassion and love I saw modeled by my parents affected my life forever."

Nancy will also will be writer featured at the Enid Library Author's Fest on April 19.

The book is available through Amazon for $12.99 plus tax and shipping (also ebook) and at the 4R Kids 2nd story Gift Shop at 710 S. Overland Trail for $15, which includes tax. Bookstore hours are . Monday – Friday 10AM – 5 PM & Saturday 10 AM – 2 PM, closed on Sunday. The book will also be available on the 4rkids.com website and can be shipped for a small charge.
