Enid Skate Park Mural Signing

ENID, OK - The City of Enid officials, Public Arts Commission of Enid (PACE), and the Enid Parks and Recreation Department invites the public to the Enid Skate Park “Signing of the Mural” by Kiptoe slated for 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 21st at 124 North 5th Street.

Matt Dean, known as Kiptoe, is a mural artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles. Using a bright imagination, he paints with strong color palettes and dynamic movement.

According to Dean, “The acronym KIPTOE stands for Kinetic Imagination Presented Through Our Experience, which means in layman's terms being able to take what you've experienced in your life and flip it into your imagination and be able to push it out into your art.”

The mural at the Enid Skate Park will be kinetic art, having motion and dynamic movement within it. There will be a flow of bright colors that show action synonymous with action and movements surrounding skateboarding and scootering.

PACE board member Christy Northcutt said, “It has been amazing to watch him create the mural. We are excited for what this will add to the skate park and our community.”
